Pastor John W. Lucas III is the Senior Pastor of Immanuel Church in Calgary, Alberta. A multiracial and cross-cultural community, which was founded by his grandfather, the late Dr. John W. Lucas.
Guided by Pastor John's vision, Immanuel Church has been a model of reconciliation and racial healing to the City of Calgary and beyond. Currently Immanuel Church has a representation from 26 different nations of the world. The blending of cultures and languages brings a unique mosaic of people united in love because of Jesus Christ.
Pastor John is an accomplished musician, and speaker. His preaching and teaching ministry, known for its humor and deep insight, has made him an engaging speaker that many have testified to enjoy.
He is married to Nanette Seenandan, and together they share responsibility for three wonderful children.
